Violin

The violin, also referred to as a fiddle, is a wooden string instrument with four strings. Such strings consist of a natural casing, covered with silver or aluminium wire, which are struck with a bow to generate sounds.

Violinists or fiddlers have to press down the string at the proper position to create the desired tone and can influence the volume and sound of their instrument by changing the pressure and striking pace. By applying additional finger and striking techniques, violists can make their playing more attractive and remarkable.

The violin refines harmonious accents and often sets the melody or mood of a song with its profound sound.
